Modern Mailbox

In today’s video, I show you how to make durable and long lasting outdoor furniture. In building this mailbox post, I used walnut hardwood, white oak wood veneer, Baltic birch plywood, and epoxy. The combination of wood veneer, epoxy, and plywood maximizes the durability and longevity of this woodworking project, and the techniques shown can be applied to all outdoor furniture. In order to adhere the wood veneer to the plywood, I used a vacuum press to get even, consistent clamping pressure. This project offers a great opportunity to enhance your woodworking skills while creating a functional and elegant piece that will surely make you the neighborhood's envy.
